Summer Camp Day Activities

Day Activities - Night Activities - Dates & Rates - Summer Camp Application - F.A.Q. - Climbing Camp

Our staff will work with your teen throughout their time at camp to meet individual needs and goals. The program operates on the philosophy of "challenge by choice" where each individual determines the level of involvement best suited to him or her while still contributing to the team process.

Each Week is different and offers a combination of these activities. Not all activities will take place each week.

Climbing Camp (NEW!) – This rock climbing camp is for beginner climbers – the first step in learning to climb.  This course teaches the fundamental skills needed to participate in top rope climbing. Students will learn how to tie into the climbing rope, how to belay another climber on top rope, how to properly anchor themselves while belaying, and basic climbing technique.  Climbing safety will be stressed during this course.  Students may watch the guide build top rope anchors using natural protection such as trees, boulders, and natural features of the rock.  Students will also learn to rappel with a back-up method. For this camp TMI is partnering with Seneca Rocks Climbing School, utilizing their guides’ skills and expertise.
